Vern is still selling honey. He's sometimes at Rock Creek, at Hwys 70 and 361 (Old 61). Or sometimes he's in Roseville at the corner of Lexington and County Road B.

It's picking time! We've had a couple of frosts, and that killed all the leaves and vines, which have dried up and almost completely disappeared. That left a "moonscape" of pumpkins.

What is it???!!!!
This is our "conjoined pumpkin." Don't know how it came to be, but it grew this way in the field. We saved it until December, and when it started to decay and there was nothing to lose, we cut it open. It looks like two separate pumpkins in many ways, but they are actually growing together.

Update: Here's what Vickie found when she cut it open. She named the pumpkins "Larry and his other brother Daryl"
